Not only does the hotel have lots of room for you to enjoy yourself, it also offers some great amenities such a beautiful outdoor pool, a meditation garden courtyard (a great spot for cosplay photoshoots), a Starbucks cafe, free wireless internet throughout the property, and The Loft restaurant.
This hotel is located right across the street from Big Spring International Park and its famous red Japanese foot bridge which provides a picturesque back drop for cosplay photoshoots.
Holiday Inn Is offering a special Hamacon room rate for $89 per night for a standard room.
Reservations may be made by submitting a rooming list, online at their website with the group code SHC, mailing reservations, or individuals calling our 1-800-Holiday (465-4329) reservation line and asking for the group rate.

Group rates are available
Why should I pre-register?
Pre-registration is the only way to guarantee access into HAMACON. The convention has a maximum capacity, and when we’re sold out, that’s it!
Can I order multiple memberships?
Yes. Select the appropriate membership product and modify the quantity on your shopping cart page within the online store. Be sure to hit the “Update Cart” button to change your quantity. Please note, all memberships purchased under a single name can only be picked up by that individual at the convention.
Can I place an order for someone else?
Yes. However, as you are placing your order through our online store please be certain to specify the name of the person paying for the order in the billing information category. The name of the person picking up the membership and actually attending the convention must be specified in the “Name on your badge” blank. Please review all information to make sure it is correct before confirming your order.
Do I have to pay for my order immediately?
Yes. Our registration system uses REG ONLINE, it is a safe and secure way to register and pay for your passes and merchandise. Orders must be paid for during the ordering process. Check and money orders must be received within 2 weeks of order submission. Unpaid orders are deleted and must be replaced.
What if my payment is returned for insufficient funds?
Returned checks are subject to a $20 service fee. This fee is in addition to any fees that your financial institution may charge you. If your payment is returned due to insufficient funds (NSF), a member of the HAMACON staff will contact you with instructions for payment. All outstanding debts MUST be paid in full before access to HAMACON will be granted.
Are child and parent passes available?
Children five and under are free with the purchase of a full admission by adult. Limit two children per adult pass. Parent passes are available on-site at a rate of $10 per day. Limit one pass per two regular passes. Note: Parent passes are available for purchase at a reduced rate for parents or guardians accompanying their children. However, parent passes may not guarantee you access into certain events. These passes are not intended for adults who are actually attending the convention for their own enjoyment.
Are there Group rates available?
HAMACON offers group rates. To register for a discounted group rate simply follow the directions listed on the “group rate registration” posting on the main website. Sorry, you can only register for group rates through regular mail. There is no online option for group rate registration.
How do I check the status of my order?
Your orders and their statuses are available for viewing via your account on the registration link.
Will I receive anything relating to my membership in the mail?
No. There are no physical tickets/memberships/passes mailed out prior to the convention. Your badge will be available for pickup on-site at the convention. Please be sure to bring a copy of your order confirmation along with your photo ID with you to HAMACON.
What are the hours of registration at the convention?
Friday, April 30, 2010 – 9am to 7pm
Saturday, May 1, 2010 – 9am to 6pm
Sunday, May 2, 2010 – 9am to 2pm
What if I lose my badge?
A single replacement badge is available from registration at a reduced cost once your information has been verified. Any further badge losses will require full at-door price to be replaced.
I have already placed my order but am unable to attend the convention, now what?
We are sorry but at this time HAMACON does not offer refunds.
